11 On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning over Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.[a] 12 And the land will mourn, each family individually:
The family of the house of David by itself,
and their women by themselves;
the family of the house of Nathan by itself,
and their women by themselves;
13 the family of the house of Levi by itself,
and their women by themselves;
the family of the house of Shimei by itself,
and all their women by themselves;

- Zechariah 12:11 Probably a reference to the disaster that caused the death of Josiah, the reformer, near Megiddo (2 Ki 23:29). Others think the reference is to the celebration of a Canaanite rite in honor of the god Hadad-rimmon.
